Terminal Auto Body has been providing trusted auto body and collision repairs at our auto body repair shop in Parksville BC for nearly 40 years. Most of our customers are residents of Vancouver Island, and we are conveniently situated on Island Highway East, in close proximity to the communities of Qualicum Beach and Nanaimo.

About Us
We are a second-generation, family owned and operated auto body repair business. Originally located in Nanaimo, Terminal Auto Body’s founder, Al Descoteau, moved the business to Parksville when the family moved in 1979. Al recently retired, and Mark Descoteau and his sister Sari Smith have taken over operations.
One reason that Terminal Auto Body has been successful for so long is we have always been committed to keeping up-to-date with vehicle repair technology. We recently invested in specialized aluminum repair equipment, for example. This allows us to work on all makes and models of vehicles, from domestic to import brands like Mazda and Hyundai.
Not only are we continually upgrading our shop and repair equipment, we also invest in our employees by offering training seminars on a regular basis.

We are an accredited ICBC c.a.r. shop VALET and Glass Express facility and a member of the QA Collision Group, allowing our customers to enjoy the following associated benefits:
- On-site estimates for eligible vehicle and auto glass repairs
- No need to visit a claims centre (for most estimates)
- Direct-to-ICBC billing
- Repair work guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle
In addition to ICBC claims, we accept claims from all private insurance providers.
Valet Service
Our customers have been loyal over the years, and we have the mid-island community to thank for helping to keep our business thriving.
We offer valet service — complimentary pickup and delivery of your vehicle when requested (within 30 km of our shop). This means that we can stop by your home or office, pick up your vehicle and bring it in to be repaired. When your repairs are complete, we can also deliver your vehicle back to you.
